My wish for everyone this Christmas is to know the hope we have because God gave His Son. Christmas itself is such a wonderful time of year, but when normal pain doesnt' go away, it is a reminder of why God gave. No better gift can we receive than the peace that He offers. I tried every which way to add music to this slide show, but I had to finally settle with a 'silent movie'.

Mom, I feel like I've made a visit as a fly on your wall ... like I was sneaking around, admiring your Christmas decor. It brought tears to my eyes as I spied around your house, the beautiful music playing (I played the YouTube song as I played your slideshow), with Makenna in one arm and Tehya in the other. We miss you ...
We did the same thing, played the song and watched the video. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home and your well wishes. We too would like to wish you a wonderful Christmas Season.

Wow, that gave me such a peaceful feeling......you have a real gift of hospitality
Anneliese, even to us in blogland.
consider yourself hugged for Chirstmas((())).
After a very "scattered-feeling" day at work today, I have just listened to this song & it ministered to my heart. Thank you!

Thank-you for sharing your home with us, Aunt Lisa! I too, had the music playing while watching the video. Your home looks warm and inviting! What a beautiful song. I've had a busy day of packing and preparing to leave tomorrow, and your post reminded me to focus on the REASON for our celebration. Thank you.
Love, Bonnie
Beautiful...the words...the pictures....and such a timely reminder to us all!
I enjoyed the video, picturing where I had seen everything at your place on Sat. You have everything so beautifully decorated, as always. Thanks again for the wonderful evening.
What a beautiful post...pictures, music and words Anneliese. May you truly have a blessed Christmas as well.
How suitable. Very peaceful and the perfect verse for me.
"Be still, and know that I am God."
Have a wonderful season.
The house looks beautiful and peaceful...can't wait to see it in person in two more "night-nights"! =)
