At first I thought that it was an odd question to ask. Then I began to see something beautiful. While I imagine Jesus floating down from heaven in majestic power, he was imagining Jesus running! Oh, sometimes I think our adult minds have lost something very special!

From a Child's Perspective
At first I thought that it was an odd question to ask. Then I began to see something beautiful. While I imagine Jesus floating down from heaven in majestic power, he was imagining Jesus running! Oh, sometimes I think our adult minds have lost something very special!

I have the sweetest and cutest nephew ever. =) I love this story.
What a cute story! When I first read this, I was thinking that perhaps he wondered about Jesus running because he thought Heaven was really far away and it would take a long time for Jesus to get here. I love Paeton's perspective.
That is too precious! Rosie says, "Oh Paeton." She loves Paeton's view on life.
oh dear. . .how darling. ..and such amazing child like faith. . .
Precious...and so worth recording!
Oh Anneliese...how interesting. I am in the midst of creating a post where I used that exact analogy.
my imagination is just flying and i can see myself RUNNING into HIS arms.....what a vision, wow what a beautiful picture.
Out of the mouths of babes...This is a wonderful story! And the thought of not having to say good-bye to the people one loves sounds very appealing, doesn't it?
That's why we have little ones, to teach us the simple truths and keep perspective.
Paeton's sweet spirit is my gift from Jesus.
Precious !!! Kids so often have it right! No wonder Jesus rejoiced that God's truths were revealed to children and hidden from the 'worldly wise'!
This is what Paeton's comment made me think -since we can't see Jesus, he must be some distance away, and so if he were to come soon, he better be running. I love to hear the thoughts of children!
I will like not saying goodbye.
Never having to say goodbye! For those of us with children and grandchildren who live far away that is definitely something that will be truly amazing!I love's Paet's picture...Jesus just running to come and get us!
