Sitting across from you, having coffee, is such a rare and special moment! Moments that have come to be more meaningful and appreciated over the past number of years.In each of our lives we have significant markers that determine our path, who we become and what we focus on. As a young mom I had no idea what kind of marker I was embarking on, nor what motherhood would mean. If you had sensed the fear and helplessness of the one holding you, you would have been afraid as well. But with your amazing daddy beside me and a God whom I could call upon at all times, it has been one of the best gift ever given to me - motherhood - something I would not trade for anything!
But this day is not about me - it's about celebrating the beautiful daughter God gave us 31 years ago! A little girl with blue eyes that disappear when she smiles! A cautious, artistic, sensitive and caring girl. A daughter who has grown to be someone I respect, admire and cherish as an adult. What more can I ask for?
Julene, we wish you a very special and blessed day and year! May God continue to give you the desires of your heart as you trust in Him. We look forward to seeing you again. Our hugs and open arms are waiting!

Happy Birthday Julene. . .what a wonderful mom you are Anneliese .. . I know how much you love your children. It struck me reading this that your love has grown with them. We all raised our kids together and have seen each other develop parenting skills. I can completely relate to how you felt as a new mom. . .but you have been such a good one.

Happy Birthday Julien. Last night Adrienne and Carissa and their kids were over so we watched old slides. Some had Central Heights days in them and there was a Christmas concert where we pointed you out, along with many other kids that now are moms and dads themselves.
