Nine Ways - Again

On Saturday, while my H was cleaning up the yard, I played dress up! Literally, I popped in and out of the house so he could work on his photography skills on the side. And in case you wonder, the grin was back!

Last year I bought a dress that seemed like just the right kind of dress to pack into a suitcase and take to warm weather places. I did that for the cruise.

At home I started thinking . . . maybe it could be more than just a warm weather dress . . . and so . . . for fun . . . I gave myself the challenge of finding nine ways to wear this dress, using different sweaters I have. Not sure if I would actually wear them all, but that's where personal preferences come in.

Which makes me want to ask. Which way do you like best? I'd sure like to see someone else's nine ways. Any takers?
Oh . . . and since I was dressed for the occasion, I decided to give him a hand. Nothing like putting some spice into your hubby's mundane yard chores.

You look great in all the versions. I'll think about trying that with my pink dress...I've already got two looks going: with tiara, and with cowboy hat. Only seven more to go!

You do that well...and look good in all versions! Your 'upscale leaf-raking outfit' is definitely the urban look.

You're so creative! My favourite combination is the bottom right where you're looking up.

My favourites are the bottom right, Centre picture and the second from the right in the top row.
Anneliese, you are so creative in finding different looks by adding a sweater or changing a few accessories. Thanks for sharing your wardrobe savvy with us.

Looks so great! I have never thought of putting a top over a dress to make it like a skirt. I HAVE however made a skirt look like a dress.

My favorite is the one with the cardigan and the belt, but I would undo a few more of the buttons, unless it is too cold.

Oh, and nice touch with tying in points from the last fashion lesson! :)

SOOO cute! I like the sweater & belt over the dress with the boots (2 versions of this). Fall clothes are so fun!

I love the center one with the short sleeved sweater as well as the one on the bottom right with the long sleeved sweater and belt. I also like the sleeveless vest version. You make a great model.

You are such a great model and I love that you do this.
I am racking my brain trying to think which dress that I own would work like this.
I also like the bottom right hand corner the very best and the one with the long cardigan I like a lot too but also would try a few more buttons open at the bottom.

I so enjoy your posts.

How clever. I usually make up an outfit and wear it the same way every time. I like them all but the bottom left is my favorite.

You look gorgeous in them all.. but I like the bottom left the best - the long sleeved navy pullover underneath.... if you insist I choose! smile

This is SO cute!! What a fantastic idea! I just love your creativity in finding new ways to wear this dress - such a versatile piece of clothing. I like how you put the black tank over top to make a summer skirt and top outfit and I also love the 2 sweaters with belts & boots look. Great post!
