Dinotown - Then and Now
I was scanning slides of the early 1980's and came across some interesting ones . . . taken one Sunday afternoon when we got together with our kids' favorite cousins and visited, what was then called, Flintstones Bedrock City, in Chilliwack. Peering at the slides . . . they almost looked too familiar . . .
Julene, Bonnie and Kristal (they call themselves sister/cousins today)
I clicked on a more recent file. Look familiar? This photo was taken last summer when we took our three oldest grands to the same park, now called Dinotown. Some things have changed, but not everything.
I began to match up more slides with current pictures . . .

Wow, so fun to look at pictures and compare. And it is so strange to think my daughter was there enjoying the same things that I did as a child. So cute.
That is so cool! What fun to have these to compare :0)
I'm smiling too! How fun to compare pic's from a few generations of Dinotown.
Our kids loved that place...and Heidi worked there on the stage crew for a few summers of her youth.
Anneliese. ..Terry and I were talking that we will do this for our grands this summer. .and I smiled since I had this exact post in mind. Some things really don`t change and isn`t that niceĆ
very cool!

Too funny!! I love comparisons like that.
Too cute!!! How fun to compare...thanks for sharing.
What an incredibly fun post! Almost gives me goose-bumps. Love the pic of my Paeton with arms open wide.
LOVE this post!! When I first saw it, I was so surprised to see myself on the picture wearing my red wind breaker :) We used to love going to Flinstone park with Julene and Kristal...such great memories. Love the comparison with all the pictures.
Love, Bonnie
