Actually I have to smile at her determination not to smile.As soon as she sees the camera, it's game over.
No smiles.
I soo wish you could see her cute dimples.
One of these days.
But you do see those beautiful dark eyes that look like mirrors. Eyes that say, "I will smile when I want to smile," with a pinched mouth.
But on this day, when I held her . . .
she leaned her face against mine and just rested it.
It's the most amazing feeling.
She's content, my Lacey girl.

That brought back a memory! We wanted to send our parents a new, updated photo of our first baby. We lived so far apart! No way would she smile for the camera. We tried for over half an hour without success!

We have seen those smiles and those dimples...albeit a reward hard to come by...and she is just adorable, I have to agree....and so sweet!
Oh she is darling . .pinched mouth and all. I see her gorgeous eyes too .. just like her grandma.
You have brought back memories to me too. My daughter was the most expressive baby (and she still is..thirty years later her moods are on her face for all to see even now!)When she was a baby all it took was a camera and her face locked into deep serious studious scowl mode. Forget being charming with a big smile, there were things to be studied, and concentration was needed.
I will suggest your girl will be quite the bright one in school.
