Baked Oatmeal

Someone once told me that handwritten recipes are the best! Sometimes this is true ... so today you can choose between a handwritten recipe given to me and the way I mostly give out recipes now. If you have not just come from there, check out mennonitegirlscancook for the modern version.

I still have a handwritten recipe for 'Almond Puff' that you gave me 35 years ago...Karin

Isn't that just darling. Someone took a lot of time and effort to do that for you. It's so much more charming than the computer print outs, but I do appreciate the new, speedy way to download a recipe.

Sounds so good!I think it would be a hit at my house! I have some of my mother's handwritten recipes. She died about 29 years ago, so I treasure them!

I have never tried baked oatmeal, but I think I will give your hand written recipe a try. Just because you wrote it!!

The recipe sounds wonderful...and the hand-written version looks amazing! (I'd keep that forever and always.)

That handwritten recipe is far too beautiful to throw away!! I have several recipes handwritten from my mom (some that I don't even really use) that I hang onto and keep in my recipe box. I just like knowing that they are in there. :-)
