Simple Pleasures

Natalie came over with a movie, a balloon and some artwork in hand . . .wanting to make me feel better.
Meanwhile, I had purchased some polish and . . . a magazine, just because.

We painted nails and she checked out my magazine while they dried. It was very hard to wait.

The smile says it all.

And the part that brought her the most pleasure was that it matched Rapunzels dress!!!
At the end of the day ... we both felt better.

I noticed in picture 2 how her toes in the distance matched her shirt. And then it's obvious in the 3rd picture with her sweet hands. You don't have to go as far as Rapunzel to see that it's the color for her!

How wonderful to be girlfriends with your granddaughter.

Hope you are feeling okay.

Fun stuff! I got a kick out of seeing H in the background on the pic of Natalie holding up her hands...he is probably thinking..."girls!"

Indeed. ..it is all about the wonder that dear sweet Natalie loves you enough to go to great lengths to help you feel better. I can't wait for my chance to pull out the grammie needs attention card.

There's nothing like having some spa time with the girls to lift the spirits...and if 'the girl' happens to be a grand...all the better! Sweet.
