They Wouldn't!

I had some warning first thing in the morning when I heard a chain saw going, a sound that tends to make me nervous. Looking out, I did not see anything unusual, so I got ready and went out to get groceries.

When I came home, I was doing something by my kitchen sink, when I looked up and saw something in the trees and, no, it was not a monkey. I could not believe my eyes!

Would they really do that? Would they cut down our the forest?

I realize that our property stops by the fence, but if I have anything to say about that view, I'd like to keep it. Maybe they're just thinin' .... maybe someone had some clout to remove just the poplars amongs the alders.  I'm hoping.

Let's hope they are just thinning! Love the pic of the lumberjack in the tree!

I am wondering if you and I will be able to wave once the awful terrible thing has been finished? Did you call the powers that be to investigate if they had the all important tree cutting permission?

I'm hoping too...for your sake!

We already bought our next door neighbour's land...just so we could determine what happened on it. I'm just saying:)

Oh I'm hoping along with you - I hate when the familiar landscape around me changes. They've cut down so much forest on the hills near us to build houses and it's very discouraging to see.

Oh dear. All of our forest is now covered with new houses and no forest. I hope they leave some trees for you to view...

It's sad to see so many woods disappearing :( My husband and I enjoy riding through untouched woods, but it's getting harder to find those places.

I hope they're not cutting down your beautiful view!! Although if you can wave at Lovella that would be sweet :)

Oh my, run out and chain yourself to a tree...have a sit-in and call the media! Well...maybe you could go out and discuss the issue with the workers...

I hope that's it!
We didn't move fast enough in trying to buy the place next door, and we've had a lot of aggravation with what has happened there.
