These past few days have included our oldest grandkids taking up their mom's,
auntie Kristal's and uncle Ben's old bedrooms.
It's funny how the rooms still get connected to their previous owners
but I think the kids like it that way.
The bathroom with the two sinks still comes in quite handy as well.
And the thing I'm proud of is that we've made it through the morning routine
and into the car by eight, to get to school.
Just sayin . . .
anything I get done by that time in the morning deserves bonus points.
(But then, I think you already knew this about me.)

It makes me wonder how we managed to get that routine done on a daily basis for years on end. Glad you were able to have the kids and give their parents some time away. I'm sure there were many memories made.
You do deserve bonus points for sure! Blessings...
Horray for mimi! You can pick a sticker:) Fun times! Girls and two sinks...perfect!
Why is it that 8 o'clock didn't seem nearly so early, back in the day when we did the get-to-school routine on a regular basis? Good job!
Good for you! Such fun for all!
I'm totally smiling at this. I had to have one out the door at 8 today. Made crepes, braided hair and left the little one with Grandpa...so I give you 3 bonus points for getting all three out the door on time. :)
What a gift it was to know that our kids were being so well cared for! I doubt they really missed us, they were having so much fun! P.S. chips in the lunches was a HUGE hit!!
definitely bonus points!! I'm not sure I could get back into routine - I don't know how I got 5 kids out the door for school with only 1 bathroom with 1 sink! I seem to remember some teeth brushing in the kitchen sink :)
