Mother's Day 1983 - thirty years ago
Photo taken after church.
I know this because the girls are wearing
pink carnations to celebrate that they have a mom.
Things I love about this photo . . .
sisters holding hands,
Julene's big sister smile and Kristal's best grin.
The upside down flower.
My baby boy relaxed in my arms . . .
and the smiling photographer (not shown)

but what you gained from having one."

I remember you during those days of bringing pretty little girls to church with a little boy still in arms. Happy Mother's Day .
It's a lovely photo of a moment in time - one that is repeated today in so many back yards. I just spoke with my daughter-in-law in Alberta, wishing I could be there to treat her on this special day. I just read a quote that said 'If you have a mom, there is nowhere you are likely to go where a prayer has not already been.'
I love that photo of you and your children Anneliese. You continue to be a beautiful mom. I love the quote too.
Fun to catch up on a lot of post I've missed! Will have to check out the links to see what you all have been up to. Happy for your success!
Such a sweet picture! And the quote is so true!
Terrific post... Happy Mother's Day!
You look sooooo young!!! But then 30 years is a very long time...love the picture!
Awwww - so beautiful! The things you love about the pictures are so sweet. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day Anneliese. My flowers are still looking pretty and remind me of you and Lovella!
Don't we all remember those early years...busy in a much different way, and yet I can sense a strong connection of respect and support between you and your family.
Beautiful.
These pictures took me back. In 1983 life had a whole different feel to it. I think of it as I watch my daughters with their little ones. I am so sure the one taking the picture was smiling a big smile. What a beautiful young family!
To my beautiful Mom,
I thank God for you and am honoured to be your daughter.
I remember that beautiful childhood season well, and thank you for being all that you were and are to me.
Love Julene
Such a cute picture!!!
