I know what you mean...some flowers just suit February's snowy backdrop! Primroses in white pots are my go-to flowers for the month; they seem happy to bloom for quite awhile inside and are happily transplanted outside once the ground has thawed. They surprise me by blooming over and over again!
Just as soon as the minus 30 with a wind chill breaks, I'll be out Tulip shopping. I promise!
In the meantime I acquired a painting of a blue vase filled with yellow and red Tulips. This was a just-in-time acquisition, as I was feeling sorry for myself, not living where it's nearly Spring.
I'm planning to get some when I go for groceries tomorrow. Such a welcome sight. Since we have snow in the forecast for the weekend, they will brighten things up indoors.
I have spent the last fifteen minutes reading through all the posts that I missed of yours during the last two weeks, and I just must tell you how much I enjoyed my visit here. Your blog inspires my heart and always lifts my spirits, with tulips, and verses to songs, and insights that go with me. The time at Lovella's was such a lovely event. Her table and those around it, would have made a pretty magazine picture. The desserts in the little jars and the sparklers were a perfect dessert.
Mathew's House is the best idea! I was thinking as I read about it and saw the pictures, that many parents around the country would love the privilege of having such a place. I am sure your contributions are so appreciated.
Thank you for the joy I found in my visit here today.

They are so beautiful! No wonder you were looking for them! :-)
Could I exchange places with you. I would love to think about putting tulips on my table...That's so beautiful. February is our "BIRTH Day month"
