I invite you to scroll through these photos,
telling stories with no words.
Barred up windows, open windows,
windows with character,
abandoned windows and
windows displaying results of tender care -
bursting forth with beauty!
They say that when God closes a door
He opens a window.
Let me throw open the shutters and
behold the beauty of His sovereign plans.

Absolutely stunning Anneliese! I pray we are open to God's opening up new windows for us.

Windows are one of my favorite elements on a building. There were many beautiful windows to choose from in your post. My favorites were #7 and #14. Thanks for sharing and for the reminder that God opens many opportunities for us!
So many different views. It really is fun to take the time to see them all. Beautiful photos.
Such lovely window pictures following the 'doors' post.
Thank you for sharing.
Audrey.
Reminds me of the sign that you once gave me with the verses from Malachi written on it:
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."
Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures, Mom.
Love you.
So beautiful! I love the 12th one especially! These are great addition to your door collection.
So many windows....so many stories!
There is something about red geraniums in Europe that is especially beautiful in photos to me. All your window photos are beautiful as are the photos of the doors.
Beautiful! I'm drawn to windows when we travel, as well. I imagine the lives lived on the other side. It's fun to take ideas for window plantings, curtains etc from these exotic windows.
