Flashback on Flash Floods

Our first experience of a yard flood
was on our maiden trip to Indonesia (2005).
Tehya is making sure her skirt is not getting wet.

On another trip (2009)
we joined them in the flood.

And this one came in my Inbox last week.
Just a picture of how the years goes by.
Julene knew it would tug at my heart
in the way it did hers.

Love the big smiles on their faces! They may as well enjoy the downpours when they happen. It's great how they have embraced their circumstances!

Oh boy, I guess floods are a given there. Wonderful series of time lapse photos!

These photos bring back memories of warm tropical rain. Lovely.

Love the pictures and the memories you have made with them. But those smiles so precious!

When in life do we get to relive precious moments? So thankful for this gift.

Oh the gift we have been given of the memories we store in our hearts, and thankfully those memories can be kept alive with photography. We grandmas love those pictures that arrive in our inboxes, don't we?
