I don't know if it's because he's not been around during the day
while I've had my eyes on chubby little pre-schooler hands ...
or if it's just that the camera caught something
that had me stop and look!
Who is this tall person with large hands playing with bun dough?
Looking at this now,
I think I need to give him a full sized sheet next time.
No more dragging a stool to the counter,
he jumps up ... legs and arms taking up space ...
my whole sink, blocked off.
And when I see him run like the wind,
I feel something I can't describe.
Growing pains and joys
all mixed into precious moments.

He is a very handsome boy growing into a young man!
They just grow so fast!
Adorable grand....Love his Packer shirt too....I am a die
hard Packer fan due to the fact that I,(a Yooper-from Upper
Michigan)grew up in Wisconsin and Packers are tops there...LOL
Love from NC
PS...Loved your birthday post from the 60's...
That's very sweet and I wonder how much longer he will want to make buns with you. He is now at the age where he will remember this forever.
Such a sweet post about a growing boy! There is SO much love in your words and pictures! Precious times indeed!
Having just spent two weeks with our 15 year old grandson, I can identify with your observations. One thing I noticed this time is the developing manly veins in his arms and oh, the effortless energy when he runs from one place to another. He was such a help to his grandpa as they worked together learning the diesel trade.
I enjoy your posts so much, Anneliese.
Wow he is growing up fast!
