Leafing October

I would be remiss not to share a few photos
of this most beautiful time
that reminds me of the season I'm in.

Whether walking in the rain

or playing in the dry, fallen leaves

God's beauty in nature calls attention to itself

by displaying one final "hurrah!"

before stepping aside for the secrets of the next.

With Anne of Green Gables I have to say,
"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."
(Lucy Montgomery)

What an inviting park. I'd be out there everyday if I lived near.

Oh me too! I love October. I had to think how your joy of this season is being passed down to your littles and they will remember some of these moments forever. When I said your title out loud, I recognized that is exactly how a child would say it. So sweet.

Awww yes - October has leafed! But, you have captured it beautifully with your photos and memories. I too realize that this is the season I'm in and it truly is beautiful "before stepping aside for the secrets of the next" - wow! Your words are precious.

Wonderfully written. I also love the quote from "Anne".
Such a grand time with your "grands".
