Papa, who is left handed, has passed this gene on to several grandkids.
Although Jack is not one of them, when he showed Papa how he shoots,
he held it just like Papa did,
so they went shopping for a left handed stick to store at our place.
We found out later that he had simply copied Papa's stance.
So he improvises, never missing a beat.
At home he plays right, and at Papa and Mimi's he plays left
or uses his left handed stick to shoot right.
and he scores!
Precious times, when all is right in a five-year-old's world.

You gotta love the agility and the quick skills of a 5 year old. Sweet times. Sweet that he wants to be like his Papa.
So sweet! It's good for the brain to use different hands!
I think it's cool that he's learning to be ambidextrous in his sport! Way to go, Jack!
He will be the best hockey player ever because he will be able to shoot from either side! Way to go Jack!
