Oh Anneliese, I know the work and the joy that comes along with having everything ready for the best ever guest...your own kids and grands! Your post was the perfect stage for the drama and tales of the days ahead to unfold. The Walton's tradition has been long lived in our walls over the course of years and different guests...along with the sweet sound of laughter and giggles to follow. Blessings on your time together. I lurk at your cooking blog occasionally. In fact, I am prepareing to attempt my first ever jam. I clicked your blog, and I have to say it made me home sick. What a wonderful feeling your children must have when they come home.
