One of the perks of sailing out of Los Angeles was that we got in a little visit with our little family there. They picked us up at our hotel on the morning before we left and we headed for a day in Disneyland!

We had been a little concerned how this would all work out, since Landon had just come out of the hospital, but God answered our prayers for him, and he was feeling much better.

We had to take the official “In front of Disneyland” photo. Where have the years gone when it was our own kids in the picture? But having said that, this was probably even more fun . . . to see the excitement all over again!

Natalie had been counting the days and she could hardly stop smiling.

The benefit of going with small kids is that I can handle the rides!

The wheelchair? While they were in hospital for Landon’s treatments, Shaun went to get his foot x-rayed and found out that the pain he was having in his ankle was a fracture.

It actually came in quite handy for some of the long line ups, since we were a group!

Our sweet girl . . . still smiling . . . in the line up for Dumbo the Elephant ride.

A quick "zoom in" before take off.

And what little girl wouldn’t want to go for a ride in a tea cup with Mom!
Landon was pretty laid back all day and did great. He only needed one breathing treatment.
At suppertime we went for dinner at a restaurant in Downtown Disney. I forgot to take pictures, but it was wonderful to have the time together to celebrate Kristal’s birthday. Only one random day together. . . but a day we’re thankful for. It was very special!

Yes it was!!! Thanks for a wonderful day. Natalie is still talking about all the rides she went on when you guys were here!
Ahh, what a wonderful day that was, I'm sure! What a treat! If you recall, I had to do Disney World this summer on an electric scooter. It was mostly a huge inconvenience, but it did get us at the front of the line several times too! I love the photo with the caption of "Natalie had been counting down the days..." Priceless smiles!
It does seem like you had a wonderful time. I love the picture of you and yours in front of Disneyland. . .we've all done that one a few times perhaps. . and I'd do that one again in a heartbeat with the grands. ..in a few years.
What a special day! I love the picture of Kristal & Natalie in the pink teacup!
Glad you could enjoy this special day together!
Who can resist a big smile while sitting and twirling in a pink teacup :)
Love the photos! What a happy, happy family!
