Beaver Cupcakes

As I browsed through my old magazines recently I came across these cute cupcakes that were done up in Canadian Living last year. Just in time! I got out my chocolate cupcake recipe, checked out some directions online and tried my hand at them.
Now there is still time for you to try them too!

Wishing all Canadians a wonderful day and weekend - which happens to run right into the American celebrations too! May God keep our land, glorious and free. We have much to be thankful for!

What a cute idea! Happy Canada Day! I'm making a Canadian flag cake with the red and white made of whipped cream and strawberries.

Guess what I am making the next time my beloved Oregon State University Beavers play in a big game???

When I started blogging four years ago I was shocked to read that Canadians did "do up" for Canada Day. I'm glad to see a rise in the level of celebration up there for July 1st! God Bless Canada...and the USA!

Thankful that my parents moved to Canada! This day has a different meaning for me now. I celebrate that my parents decided to leave their home land and moved to Canada. WOW! What a life changing decision.
