Pleasure and Reward

“Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

Have you seen this before? Beth pointed this out. God rewards those who seek Him! Not only has God promised that when we seek Him, we will find Him, but . . . a reward?
May our decision to seek God and to believe Him on a continual basis, bring about rewards that will encourage more faith. Be ready to share! Some of the rewards I have experienced are answered prayer, faith boosted, strength, joy and peace.

Isaiah 54:10
Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, God, who has compassion on you.”

Thank you to those who shared what they are believing God for at this time. As I read your comments last week, I could not help but add my prayers for you. In Hebrews 11: 13 it talks about people who died before seeing the things promised to them . . . it says they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. Yes, we can cling to the promise that one day He will wipe every tear.

Anneliese, those verses you shared today are wonderful. We cannot fathom the mind of God but we can be sure we will never outgive him. His blessings are promised and he is always faithful. We may not always see them in our lifetime but as long as he's driving the car. .I'm in.

Such great promises, Anneliese. The rewards for seeking Him are the very best kind...the kind that we can't buy.

His sweet presence and the many ways He shows He cares about every detail in my life are just some of the priceless rewards of trusting Him.

Yes.. God does reward those who seek Him! I remember years ago when I was struggling with getting up early enough to spend time with God before getting ready for work....I would do it for awhile and then stop and then start again... I didn't think I deserved a 'reward' but every time I would go back to my early morning quiet time after slacking off.... I would receive an unexpected bouquet of flowers! smile..

I love your blog, Anneliese.. It is always so inspirationaland uplifting to spend time on.
