Coffee Table Munchies
I saw this in a magazine and decided to try it. I put out walnuts, dried fruit, banana chips and threw in some star anise and cinnamon sticks for looks . . . it's become a snack, surprisingly hard to resist.
I did a similar thing when we had a guest with special dietary needs - just a bowl of fresh walnut halves and dried cranberries - so simple and yet delicious and healthy. You've just given me some additional ideas, thanks!!
Hi Anneliese! Sometimes I think I could live on snacks like this... I'm definitely a fruits and nuts person! I enjoyed your previous post too. He is an AMAZING God! Blessings always* Maria

I like the fragrance that came from the tray of nuts and fruit. It is a festive looking coffee table display. Thanks for sharing.
Festive . . . delicious . . . and healthy! I would find it hard to eat just a little!

It looks most appealing! I love the idea of throwing star anise into the mix.

And it is pretty too! I think it would go over well, especially with so many sweets at this time of year.
That does look good. Hope your mother is fairing well.
Great shot and so simple...but so appetizing...it would not stay long on our coffee table.
