Nine Ways to Sunday

The sun was almost ready to set when I asked him if he'd want to do me another favor. Lucky for me, he grinned and chuckled his way through the shoot. Crazy wife. I needed to do this for myself if not for anyone else, just to know I have enough options. I wore one skirt and changed up four tops and four sweaters.
This week I took note of the wreath on the pictures and realized I can't leave this post in draft for much longer . . . and that is the reason for this random post at this time. So here's to nine ways . . . to wish you a Merry Christmas!

Good job! My mom taught me about "mix and matching". It sure stretches the clothing dollars! I can't tell you how many different tops I have to go with one pair of black pants....summer and winter! :-)

Good job..is right! I'm not so good at that...mix and match thing. You look fabulous in all the outfits.

So fun to have winter clothes to mix-n-match! I've been mixing & matching summer clothes for way too long.

LOL ... Makenna just walked away saying, "I LOVE candy canes!" Thanks to your package, Grammy.

Very nice, Lisa, I used to wear a lot of skirts (long ones) but have stayed away from them for a long time, not sure why. I think that I might have to invest in a new one. Your back yard is a perfect place for a photo shoot.

I like the black sweaters, black leggings and boots with the grey skirt. Very nice.

p.s. This is very instructive. Can you do this with some of your other wardrobe items, like the ones you showed laid out, some time ago.

I am sending these to my "Anneliese".

You're one of those lucky ladies on whom everything looks good! Be blessed!

These outfits are just so cute!! Ruffles make everything so much fun-- I love that they are everywhere these days! You must be freeeezing outside though!...that's the sad part about winter mix & match, it always looks exactly the same when you have to put a big wooly coat on top! ha! Make sure you whip it off as soon as you get indoors! :)

Know how lucky you are. I am reading your posts here and seeing how beautiful you are physically and how rich you are spiritually and reading your posts on mennonite girls can cook and it makes me wish I was you.

To the last annonymous ...I'm sure you have been blessed with something special ... I remember many years ago being at a table and answering the question... "If you had any gift to chose from, what would it be?" For some reason I remember thinking about the gift of encouragement. We can all encourage others...but it takes practice. I can't believe I am living my dream now of doing that... but in all of this.. I wish to inspire and let you know that my joy and hope is in Jesus Christ. I have never had the chance to pursue a carreer or do anything big. I'm a very ordinary person desiring to love God, my family and people God puts into my life.
Wishing you blesings in the New Year!
