Part of the path I walk around the pond has been flooded for some time. Good thing we live on a hill, but our back yard has been quite soggy too.
But in spite of all the gloomy wetness, my weekly little visitor somehow manages to remind me of spring and put a smile on my face. Maybe, just maybe, we'll be able to visit the baby ducks on the pond soon.
