Nine Ways from the Fitting Room

It's not a good way to begin a post but, first, I apologize for the poor quality of the photos and, secondly, my inclination to find some faults with this combination. If you still want to, I invite you to walk with me into this particular store at the Outlets Mall. The nice thing was, there were some good sales going on and it was easy to co-ordinate a wardrobe. Some stores don't make it so easy.

First, I chose a pair of linen pants with a fine stripe (not so visible here) and a couple of tops to go with them. A salesclerk came along and asked if I needed help. I'm always happy when they are noteager to start a fitting room. How in the world are you supposed to match things up when they takeyour armload of things away? I prefer if they ask if there is something they can help you find.
I also wanted to try a dress and two sweaters that would fit into the scheme. This dress is too muchthe same color as the pants. If I'd been serious, I would have found another one . . . maybe a dark one with a white (instead of black) sweater.

So there you have a peek into the fitting room! I did not purchase any of these items, even though I liked some of them. So, no need to worry that you will see me wearing these things . . . all the time! A girl would be concerned about that too.

It's a good thing my date is such a great sport. Last time I checked we were still having fun!

I'm sure your date enjoyed his model! You are darling! I always like your wardrobe/fitting room/modelling posts. You know how to pull a few key things together, add a few items of colour, accessorize and go! Fun!

Oh what a fun post! I love the clothes you pulled and you look gorgeous in each outfit. How I could use your help in choosing things for me!!! Do you do consulting? I am so self conscious when it comes to shopping for clothes - never seem to love anything I try on and don't have a good sense of how to coordinate! Sigh....... You are gifted and blessed to have such an understanding photographer :).
Keep the Fitting Room lessons coming. Love them!

You are having too much fun...I love doing those things by myself or with my favorite date also. I think he's got good taste.
Keep enjoying the beautiful weather. The snow is low and I just made my last purchase for some warmer layers under my ski jacket.

I'm another one who would be very happy to have you tell me what to try on! You always look so pulled together, and the collection of pieces you showed today would go a long way!

Love all of the outfits - but especially the dress and sweater!

How could you leave those items in the store? They all looked great on you. I do appreciate the advice on co-ordinating outfits as you purchase them. It would be good to do do more pre-planning before I shop.
