Playhouse Time in Saskatoon - Part 2

While the important things, such as naps, bath times and bedtime stories, continued

and the freezer got filled with food for colder days to come . . .

the view from the kitchen area, going upstairs . . . was changing.

It was becoming clear what the hustle and noise was all about.

On the day that we were about to leave . . . and Teddy was napping . . .
Lacey got to check it all out.

I followed her up the stairs to the loft . . . the favorite spot.

Her smile says it all . . .

I think Momma is hoping for many happy hours spent here
when walks to the park may not be an option.

With a father/son team, it is a house that went up in record time.

Thank you, Ben and Kari for the privilege of spending this memorable time in your home.

When the wind blows and the snow comes . . .
may there be warmth and happiness in this little house on the prairie.

I loved this post...My viewing of this...is that it looks like it's inside the house?
If that is how it looks...that is so clever...It will give those little ones hours of play...and happiness to know who built this for them.
Great building projects either in Indonesia or SA.

I love it!! I was just showing my daughter Sarah a playhouse tent on pinterest that goes over a table - it was so cute and she would have loved it. But this is even better! I'm sure there will be many happy hours spent in there. So glad you had a wonderful visit!

That is quite the playhouse! And so smart to have it right where they can see it from the kitchen downstairs!

I had to laugh at your description and the photos of the playhouse - when our children were young we also built a little playhouse in Saskatoon - and it looked just like your little playhouse, down to the shakes on the roof. Our children loved it and spent many happy hours there. I'm sure it will be the same for your dear little grands.

So cute! I know I would have loved a little play house like this so I'm sure the kids will love it. How wonderful that Papa and Daddy got to work on this together. Not the least, was the example to your grandkids of generations working together in a project of love.
