While the important things, such as naps, bath times and bedtime stories, continued
and the freezer got filled with food for colder days to come . . .
On the day that we were about to leave . . . and Teddy was napping . . .
Lacey got to check it all out.
I followed her up the stairs to the loft . . . the favorite spot.
I think Momma is hoping for many happy hours spent here
when walks to the park may not be an option.

I loved this post...My viewing of this...is that it looks like it's inside the house?
If that is how it looks...that is so clever...It will give those little ones hours of play...and happiness to know who built this for them.
Great building projects either in Indonesia or SA.
Oh that is so cute! I love how Dad's and sons work together to make things happen fast. Beautiful work.
What a wonderful play house! Love the smile on her face!!
Just adorable! Reminds me of another sweet little playhouse! :-)
I want one!! That is a wonderful idea for the little ones.
What lucky little girls!
I love it!! I was just showing my daughter Sarah a playhouse tent on pinterest that goes over a table - it was so cute and she would have loved it. But this is even better! I'm sure there will be many happy hours spent in there. So glad you had a wonderful visit!
That is a little girls dream come true playhouse! Perfect for the winter time for sure...they will definitely keep cozy in such a cool imagination factory...oh the tea parties that they will have!
That is quite the playhouse! And so smart to have it right where they can see it from the kitchen downstairs!
I had to laugh at your description and the photos of the playhouse - when our children were young we also built a little playhouse in Saskatoon - and it looked just like your little playhouse, down to the shakes on the roof. Our children loved it and spent many happy hours there. I'm sure it will be the same for your dear little grands.

What a delightful made with love project for those beautiful granddaughters!!! Indeed a wonderful "in house" play spot for the upcoming cold days..... Great pictures Anneliese and the smiles tell the whole story!
Thank you so much for coming and taking care of us, and spoiling us with this beautiful house!! We can barely tear Lacey away! We miss you already but are so grateful that you came all the way out here to be with us... We love you!
Love the little house on the prairie.
So cute! Having a playhouse in the house is becoming your family tradition.
So cute! I know I would have loved a little play house like this so I'm sure the kids will love it. How wonderful that Papa and Daddy got to work on this together. Not the least, was the example to your grandkids of generations working together in a project of love.
Too cute! What a great gift for the grands...'a new little house on the prairie'.
