If you come knocking at our house tonight, you will still get candy served in
a large Tupperware bowl.
When I saw this photo I saw how some things have not changed.
So funny - I used to fill one of those too - back in the day when there were some children out here in the country I used to have to call their moms and beg them to stop in before they headed to town to do their serious trick or treating - lol! Love your blue-eyed cat!!
I had a bowl just like that one, until I melted it in the oven. I had set my bun dough in the oven to rise (don't know why, but that's how my mom did it-:)) and then I forgot it was in there when I preheated the oven to bake something else... now I have the bright yellow one. Thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog - I so seldom post that it's always a surprise that someone might still check it. You know what it's like, the bittersweetness of having your father released from his suffering, even though it takes him away from us. We are SO happy for him!
If you would have come to our home last evening, you would have been served candy from the same sized plastic bowl, only it was orange:) I am still smiling at this post.

Oh Yes! I have my huge yellow tupperware bowl ready to go!!
My big yellow tupperware bowl came out just this morning, too!
I have a green one but am using a basket tonight. Have fun today/tonight.
Ha - I will also be using my big green tupperware bowl. It has so many uses -- from dough to candy.

Cute...the more things change..the more they stay the same :)
I get to hand out candy for the first time every tonight, and you better believe I am getting out the big ol' Tupperware!
I'll have my big bowl ready too. What a great picture!!

I used to fill one of those - now I have a stainless steel one. Big bowls like that are useful for so many things.
