Last week I picked up Tehya one morning
to spend some time just with her
while on Christmas break.
We settled down to watch Anne of Green Gables.
It was the first time she saw it . . .and so special.
After our movie we mixed up some banana bread and made lunch.
She loves to stir
and test.
While I was having lunch with Ben and Kari,
I saw her calmly reading to her little cousins.
Sunrise, sunset.
Swiftly flow the years . . .

Sweet post! I was commenting this morning about how quickly the years fly by...and how grown up the grands are in the blink of an eye. You are making the most of those passing moments...I know.
This is just the perfect post for today. I love how you see your grandchildren. It is soothing and calm...nothing seems crazy or hurried and I get the impression you enjoy teaching them the things they love to learn.
I agree with Lovella - you seem so relaxed and peaceful in your posts - such happy grandchildren who are so thankful to have such a grandma as you. May we all be so calm in our relationships.

Oh I hope that there is a granddaughter in my future! This post is just so beautiful!
Sweet! Our oldest granddaughter is 10 today. I am looking forward to celebrating with her on Sat. I can't believe she is 10.The time does fly by!
So very sweet!
Ahhh - what a sweet post. I love Tehya's Anne of Green Gables braids. What a nice day spent with a beautiful granddaughter!
What lovely moments you are storing up in your heart. I, too, noticed the long braids, and the curled up ones. Such beautiful hair. Reminds me of my girls when they were young. Swiftly, swiftly flow the years.
AOGG and banana bread making go on my list of "to dos" with Josie! A perfect grammie/grand-daughter date.
Oh the precious memories that these grandchildren give to us. These pictures are so special! I can't help but think of all that the little ones will learn from their older cousin.
Such amazing memories! She is getting so big! Hard to believe how fast the years fly by.
