Maybe Not

That's what she said, when I put her on the potty and there was no tinkle.

We flew over the Rocky mountains early this morning and descended upon a
wintery scene.

Arriving at the house,
the snow was piled high on either side of the driveway.
And tonight, as we drove into town for dinner,
this was the landscape flying by us.

A few days ago, at home,
I thought Spring was just around the corner.
Here?
Maybe not.

Enjoy - the weather won't matter as long as you're with the grands.

Enjoy your snowy visit! It's still winter over here too and the snowmobilers and skiers have happy smiles. Me - "maybe not" so much! I long for Spring.

We also have winter here in Saskatoon - our snow is piled so high we can hardly see the car in the driveway from the living room window. I am longing for green grass and know that this too shall pass and we will have spring in a month :) Have a wonderful time with your grandchildren -- maybe playing in the snow.

haha - I remember our 4th boy - he'd stand there, shake his head and say "Don't work" :)

Hope you have a wonderful visit!

(no Spring here either!)

So cute...yes..maybe not. Today feels a little like those spring showers we sometimes get. For moment it is raining terribly and then all of a sudden the sun is out...and then back to the terrible rain and wind again.

Oh...it's cold out there...but the warmth of your grands will keep your hearts all in tunes.
It's rather chilly here also. We'll let you know when it warms up.

We have had a wonderful winter carnival here this past week, with bright sun and blue skies making the snow sparkle, and winter sports to try like x-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog-sledding, horse drawn sleighing, skating and just sitting with hot chocolate and watching it all. I had a little sun burn on my face from the sun reflecting off the snow. Glorious Canadian winter.
