Today, in a church service in Saskatoon,
our littlest grand is being dedicated to the Lord.
I know that in their hearts, her mom and dad have done this from the start,
knowing that she is a gift from the Lord . . .
and dedicating themselves to raise her to love Him.
So . . . this service is a public declaration of their desire
as well as a time for the church to commit to helping parents
raise their children in the way they should go.
As grandparents we wish to add our blessing from where we are.
We commit to pray and encourage in whatever way we can.
I love the Bible account where Jesus tells the adults
to let the little children come to him . . .
for of such is the kingdom of God.
In another place He says that unless we become like a child
we will not enter the kingdom of God.
This is one of life's great mysteries . . .
how children so easily can trust and love Jesus.
May we all learn from their child-like faith
and remember how little we really are by
entrusting ourselves to the One Who is so much greater.

How special!
It's always so special to see parents dedicate themselves to raise their little ones to follow Jesus especially when it's grandchildren! A special day.

It must be hard not be be at Teddy's dedication....but how beautiful for you to send a blessing via internet.
We know your heart and you share it so beautifully with all of us.
Such a wonderful blessing for this little grandchild.

What could be a better start than this! So cute in her tiny pink ruffles!
What an adorable pic of little Teddy! Such a sweet message from afar to her and her folks.
Teddy, was so precious. When the pastor asked her, "Teddy, can I pray for you?". She nodded a very definite "yes". A wise little girl, to never turn down the offer of someone that is willing to pray for her!
