Thankful Friday

You  may know that one way we as MGCC keep in touch is via a joint gmail account on which we chat all week long . . .  to ask what everyone is doing, to send a photo, to ask for prayer or to share a funny story . . . you get the idea.
On Friday, we have started sharing five things we are thankful for.
So why not here today?

I'm thankful for:

. . . morning walks with a friend I've walked with for 25 years now.
(were we ever young when we started!)
I'm especially grateful today for the fact that, although Doris moved
away from this subdivision almost a year ago,
she is so committed that she drives here to be able to still do the walk in the park.

. . . for pansies in my window boxes to replace my overgrown climbing geraniums.

. . . for fruit to process and enjoy later

. . . for change . . . such as this wallpaper getting covered up after 26 years.

. . . for this weekend's trip to the Granville Island Ten Thousand Villages Store

and to the Victoria TTV to do book signings
and meet lots of you wonderful people!
So thankful for the "girl time" excuse this gives us!

Love the friendship you all share! And wish I could drop by the island for the book signing and to visit that marvelous hat shop!

I am thankful this morning, that God led me to your blog, and the other special ones in your part of the world. I learn so much from each of you and I know God gave it to me as a gift.

Happy Monday!
