Another Day

While most of the flowers placed about for the shower
have sadly had to be tossed,
I'm still enjoying a few reminders in my kitchen.

This bouquet seems to have forgotten that it was cut,
since there were only buds on it a few days ago.

And candles . . . reminiscent of happy beginnings and endings,
no need to put them away too soon.

But today is another day.
I'm scheduled for my tooth implant that I've been waiting
to get done for 6 months.
The procedure won't be fun but I'm looking forward to getting my smile back.
And that's it for today.

The shower decorations were beautiful, like they were fresh out of a magazine! Praying all goes well with your tooth implant.

I am on the waiting list for my tooth implant too. Somehow, it just helps me to know you are going through it all too. I will be saying some prayers for you, I promise.

Wishing you a successful and quick recovery. I didn't know this was common enough to read two having it done on one blog!

An implant is something I will need eventually but hoping those teeth last as long as they can. I'll be interested to hear how you get along. Have you heard of people going South to have it done? Apparently a lot cheaper and you get a holiday too. Not so sure that dentist chairs and holidays mix though . . . :)
