Our Late Easter

School Spring Break was a good time for the families to go south
but it meant getting together a little late this year.
We were the last to come home ...
with the little ones still waiting to look for
Easter eggs.
We had not been forgotten.
 From the second youngest
to the oldest (living here) ...
seeing the looks on their faces,
made for another memory to unpack and enjoy.
 With these postings getting repetitive,
I focus on these younger ones ...
cousins in bunny aprons
kicking Jack's soccer ball around.

and Jack all smiles sitting securely
but not sure he wants to show off his walking skills yet.
Our quickly prepared meal was simple
with the smiles all around being the true treasure ...

the one I will delight in,
even as we wait for another gathering soon,
when all will be together.

Aww - thanks for sharing this sweet family time. Your grandchildren are all adorable. I just love the bunny aprons! Jack is getting so big already - what a cutie. Love that another gathering is coming soon when everyone will be together - you must be so excited!

How fun to come together and enjoy these moments later than usual. Love the great range of ages and the fun they enjoy at their level. Look at Jack...getting so big!

So nice to celebrate Easter together as a family, even if it is a little late. And you had much better weather for an Easter egg hunt than we did early in the month. It looks like a wonderful time was had by all! The pic's of the grands are priceless!

What lovely photos. It looks like everyone had a grand time. If we are really Easter people - people of the resurrection - then it's never too late to celebrate!

That's right, Pondside! Our lives should be a celebration of the hope of the resurection!
This becomes even more meaningful when we see life ebbing away ... knowing that this is not the end of the story. Thank you for coming by. I wonder how your mother is doing.

Such a beautiful Easter celebration. I loved seeing all the kids smiling and enjoying the beautiful spring at your house. Those yellow tulips are gorgeous! I love yellow =).
