Happy Birthday, Hon! The one I dream with, fight with, laugh with, cry with . . . my all, my best friend! Today I can't help but thank our Lord for every birthday we can share . . .

from when we were just friends . . .

to building our first home ...

to seeing you become and be such a good dad . . .

to celebrating special milestones . . .

to seeing you walk our daughters down the isle . . .

to becoming 'Papa & Grammy' together.
I pray God blesses you with continued health,
strength and joy. I love you for the seasons we've shared, for the one we're in and for what is still to come.

What a beautiful post. It almost made me cry. I always tell my husband that even if we have a hundred more years together, it still won't be enough. ;) But praise God that He gives us this earthly time to spend with such wonderful men.

Just stopping by, Anneliese, with my decaf coffee... finally sitting down after spending half the day cleaning the dreaded garage... Here I find two of your posts...well worth spending these relaxing moments reading through...
The birthday post is so wonderful... how sweet it is for the heart to have this kind of treasure.
I also appreciated the post you have on 'joy.' How true all that you wrote is. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
Many blessings ~Maria
What a lovely tribute to your husband and friend. And very neat to see you two as youngsters. Can any of us remember back that far?
