More on the Brown Hassock

I came across this random shot in our Fall 1983 cube of slides. Just another practical use for the brown vinyl hassock. One could begin to wonder how we would have managed without it.

We had a similar orange hassock which was mainly used for jumping off of. Good times!

Never had one of those - so deprived, lol! Cute shot of efforts to perform for others!

How very sweet. The little one has the exact hair of my niece at that age. If it's square or rectangular do you call it a Hassock, also?

Ellen ... I was kind of waiting for this...wondering if this was another one of those Canadian/English words. I'm learning to drop some of them when I go to the US . .. always think twice befoe I use the word bathroom instead of washroom. Okay a hassock is the same as an ottoman or a footstool. (but doesn't hassock just have a great sound? one of our kids called it a kasock.)
