Kenna and I mixed the bun dough in the morning , , ,
While Tehya and Paet got busy preparing for the mango tree project.
Once the dough had risen, we formed our rolls with it.
It was quite sticky . . . but with a little oil on our hands . . .
it all worked out.
She's a pro . . .
. . . and so is someone else! These trips are giving him chances to try his hand at all kinds of carpentry.

I want to come by and take lessons with Kenna...maybe if I had started earlier in life...I could handle the small things much better.
The joy you're experiencing on this trip is evident in everyone's faces!
Looks like you are both working in your area of expertise! What fun for your grandkids to be working alongside you both!
Those photos of Kenna by the window are lovely. The light and the color of her apron and dress are so perfect. She'll love those when shes older.
I love these glimpses into life over there. It's also a treat to see Nana and Papa enjoying their "grand" projects.
Love these glimpses. It looks like a peaceful and lovely place to be!!
seems like there's also some 'taste-testing' going on there, Kenna ;)
What fun...baking mini-zwiebacks with Kenna!
Thanks for giving us these glimpses of your visit! So glad you can be there with them : )
Please give hugs for us!!
such a nice trip. thanks for sharing. just wondering the origins of the grandkids names. they are so unusual. I am baking my last 2 loaves of Paska tonight. can't wait to ice them.
Looks like you are all having such a great time together. It's fun when you can work on projects together....inside and out.
Happy times with your grands. You are making lifetime memories.
