Flying High

We calmed our early morning jitters with a coffee and muffin just before boarding the Air Canada flight.

Right on schedule, we landed in Toronto . . . to find the walkway ... that would lead us to the train ... that would lead us to a phone . .. that would lead us to the shuttle ... to get to the slowest car rental place ever! We did not look quite this chipper at the end of that ordeal.

None-the-less . . . we were not delayed too much with our meeting with Ingrid at a nice restaurant in Oakville.
Situated on a beautiful marina, the view was beautiful and the company . . . well, we felt like instant friends.

and it was so nice to finally feel warm air in the early evening, even as the sun was setting.

Oh I do hope you will continue to welcome warm air through out this adventure.
Every airport rigamorole is an adventure just in itself!

Welcome to Ontario ladies! Are you going to be in the Kitchener-Waterloo for a few days? I'd LOVE to meet you and get my cookbook signed if you are doing a signing anywhere on Wednesday???? If you're in the area for a few days you should eat out at a Mennonite restaurant in the quaint little village of Millbank (which is about 1/2 hour drive from Kitchener). The restaurant is called Anna Mae's and I think they should be selling your book in their gift shop!!! Safe travels.

You're getting closer, ever so closer!! Looks like things are going okay thus far, with the exception of the rental car! Love how you all are blogging as you go!
