Flying High
We calmed our early morning jitters with a coffee and muffin just before boarding the Air Canada flight.
Right on schedule, we landed in Toronto . . . to find the walkway ... that would lead us to the train ... that would lead us to a phone . .. that would lead us to the shuttle ... to get to the slowest car rental place ever! We did not look quite this chipper at the end of that ordeal.
None-the-less . . . we were not delayed too much with our meeting with Ingrid at a nice restaurant in Oakville.
Situated on a beautiful marina, the view was beautiful and the company . . . well, we felt like instant friends.

Glad everything worked out and you made it safe and sound to your first destination...
Oh I do hope you will continue to welcome warm air through out this adventure.
Every airport rigamorole is an adventure just in itself!
A warm welcome...warm evenings...good company...never mind the rental car! Enjoy your day.
Welcome to Ontario ladies! Are you going to be in the Kitchener-Waterloo for a few days? I'd LOVE to meet you and get my cookbook signed if you are doing a signing anywhere on Wednesday???? If you're in the area for a few days you should eat out at a Mennonite restaurant in the quaint little village of Millbank (which is about 1/2 hour drive from Kitchener). The restaurant is called Anna Mae's and I think they should be selling your book in their gift shop!!! Safe travels.
You're getting closer, ever so closer!! Looks like things are going okay thus far, with the exception of the rental car! Love how you all are blogging as you go!
You are both looking good! We will wait to hear about the car rental story.
Glad you arrived safely and had a nice dinner out. How nice that the weather is warm and the friendship too.
Gorgeous pictures!
Thanks for updating!
What fun.....what experiences for the two of you!
Rosella, we would love to meet you! We will be back in Waterloo /Kitchener on Aug 13th. Ten Thousand villages from 1 - 2 and Wordsworth Books at 2:30
