Funny thing is, I gave myself a lot of freedom with my last post, making it such that I did not feel obligated to write for a while. I could just be on vacation, right? The thing is, I've been to Palm Springs so often, I really did not expect to see a lot of new things. The problem is, I've become a blogger . . .
It truly is a desert! Had I not known what was coming up in just a few minutes, I would have wondered about the great idea of coming here.
From one moment to the next, it is obvious where the watering or irrigation begins
and I was, once again, simply amazed! Water . . . life giving water for parched land. What a difference it makes! The symbolism did not get by me too quickly this time.
We left the airport and, even while driving, I snapped, not wanting to miss the beauty ... the contrast of the palm trees against snow capped mountains.
We rented the little place we are staying at, sight unseen . . . not even photos on the web. It's our oasis.
A place in the desert. A place to be refreshed.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, Psalm 23:2

Sigh...
Blessings on you and your refreshment!
I love aerial shots. I always want a window seat and a day flight if possible =) The configurations of the earth are amazing, aren't they. Palm Springs is truly an oasis; good image.
I hope you are wonderfully refreshed by the streams of living water.
Great photos and such a wonderful reminder of the oasis He plans for us in the desert times. Have fun!
Ooohhh, that looks like a great place to relax and unwind from the busyness of home. Have a great time!
Palm Springs is truly an oasis in the desert as your aerial shots prove.
Your pictures are helping me to feel warmer - it's been nice here but still cold. Relax and be refreshed.
Oh my goodness - what a beautiful place, and so different from our misty, moist island.
Water is life-giving and restoring. May your soul be restored in this place.
Thanks for taking us along on your vacation after all! I have ever been there so I love the experience. May you be refreshed. From Virginia
If you have a good experience at your "oasis"...could you share the address sometime? We would love to visit Palm Springs and would appreciate a recommendation.
Lovely!!!!
I just want you to know, that I enjoy every visit to your beautifully done blog. It always inspires and encourages my heart. Thank you!
I like what you shared about water. It is a gift to us that we don't often stop and think about. What a difference in those pictures.
