The other day Makenna looked out the window and asked me if it was snowing. Seriously . . . how should she know?
A lot of white stuff came down this weekend. I thought that, with having lost a number of the great but offending trees recently . . . it would be less - but not so.
The cottonwoods are super productive this year.

Haha - you and Lovella are on the same wavelength - and I thought maybe it was dandelions. I'm not sure if cottonwoods grow here. It sure looks like snow!
I just finished reading Lovella's blog...too funny!!
We used to chase cotton snow just as we chased butterflies and fireflies. I think we just liked to run.
Wow...we are on the same wave length. I love your story and so can relate the the silly Papa. We have one in this house too. He makes them laugh...and that makes me laugh.
So pretty....Lovella and you are both enjoying cotton snow in June.
Everyone is seeing white these days! I'm seeing a little green and purple as well. :)
oh my! at first I thought it really was snow..... cause we'reusually a few day behind you with weather - and I am not wanting any more cold stuff :)
Beautiful "snow" . . . but I can see how it would be messy, too!
Loving your header and oh so tidy lawn...even with "snow" it looks great. Tempted to make a "snowball" to send to the far away grands? :-)
Oh I am so glad I don't have allergies. Look at all that fluff!
For one terrifying moment I thought you'd had a bit of snow! I was going to run out and cover all of my little seedlings! Glad it's cottonwood!
That really does look like snow! The wonders of nature and the seasons! So funny that Lovella posted about this too.
Ohh ! it 'snowed' at our house yesterday too! Quite amazing how that stuff comes down.
You got better photos of it than I did!
I remember the days of the cottonwoods, and those fluff balls always had me teasing my kids also.
I'm not sure what I am seeing besides big raindrops...and birds setting on my fences producing more white marks...
