Although, this time, I passed on the climb, I do rememer the feeling
and the view from the top of Mount Cheam -
and I think Tehya will always remember this one.
I almost gasped at this sight . . . partly because she looks like a teenager,
and partly because of where she slid up to . . . but I know she's alright.
It's not as bad as it looks . . .
and she was in good hands.
The views going up . . . then from the top . . . and coming down
simply demand some kind of awe
in the One Who created and gave for our enjoyment
and for His glory.

What a great experience for Teyha! It looks like she had fun, too!
Wow, what a view! And wow, what a daring girl!
Fantastic views from the top! And I love Teyha stretched out on that rock, peering over the edge. Great photo.
I did that hike years ago and agree, it is a spectacular view. I must admit that although it was something to remember, these days I'm very happy to look up at Mt. Cheam from my comfortable chair on the patio. Way to go Teyha, that's a challenging climb.
OH what a perfect climbing day. I'd love to go up there again but it would take patience for those climbing with me...
Beautiful photos. Teyha is looking like a teenager already!
What an amazing adventure for Teyha! She will always remember this first climb with her Daddy and her Papa....so special!
What a great way to spend time with dad and Gramps! She sure looks happy!

Oh, boy, I almost got light-headed when I saw that picture with her out on the ledge! The view in the first picture is amazing!
What a special day for Teh. Thank you, Mom, for posting this to help Tehya remember her hike with her Papa & Dad.
Way to go Teyha. That will be implanted in her memory bank for years to come. This girl has endurance and confidence. That has always been my favorite hike.
Beautiful! Yay for Tehya. I haven't been to the top in over a decade...and would love to go again.
