The September issue of Style at Home has
a fun idea on how to change up the look of a muffin.
To do this, I collected tomato paste cans . . .
sprayed the bottoms and lined them with parchment paper.
You can use any recipe you like. I will be posting these apple/cherry muffins next week on MGCC.

What a cute idea! I'll have to start saving my tomato paste cans because I'd love to make these. I can just imagine them with a little candied fruit and a bit of red raffia at Christmas.
The one you sent along with me was delicious!
It was a very special gift since it reminded me of the bakery items we bought in Indonesia.
Thank you, Mom!
So cute! Thanks for sharing.
a very cute idea!
That is such a neat idea, Anneliese... thank you !
So fun. I love these sweet ideas that make a simple little muffin seem special. Would have been cute to put in the book. Seems funny to be able to say that now. :)
oooh what a GREAT idea - thank you so much sharing!
My goodness, aren't folks creative! I think they would be cute to serve this way even if yuo weren't "hitting the road"!
So cute...I love that...Hm..I think I could even possibly do that.
Great idea. I love the look and convenience of muffins in those paper cups a certain coffee place sells. Ahem. This would work well with miniature Panetonne for Christmas too.

I have used this idea so often and it is always a fun way to bake a small loaf of bread and does make a fun gift. Yours looks so nice!
One more idea when baking these tiny bread loaves. After they are baked, if I am not giving them as a gift, I remove the loaves and slice each loaf. Then I add a bit of cream cheese icing in the middle of two slices and serve as a side with my chicken salad. They make cute little sandwiches.
Totally gorgeous!
What fabulous ideas here!! I'm just catching up with your posts as we've been overseas for the past 10 days! So glad I found this Anneliese - your muffins look so neat!
