I went downstairs to check on the grands and found them entertaining themselves
without too much trouble. The play area under the stairs is still a
favorite area.

Koen got intrigued by something that went zipping by.
Maybe it was this little vintage car . . .
Luckily he occupied himself with his tractor
and let Landon enjoy his find . . .
these little cars kept him going for a long time.
He found out that if he pulled them back and let them go . . .
they went crazy fast and opted for random wheelies as they went.
I wondered how long we've had them in the toy box . . .
It looks like McDonalds featured them in the 1980's . . . which makes sense.
They would do well to bring them back.
Someone in the right place . . . ought to take note.

Oh..good morning Anneliese. Those little treasures they lay awaking to be used again and to watch the joy that it brings to the children,s faces. Shows you how happy they are with the simple things in life.
Cute photos Anneliese!
Love those old toys...and so do the grands! Cute pic's.
Sweet photos of your grands. What fun they have together. Sometimes those old toys are the best.
Very cute "old" new again toys and boys! Grand Prixs and Tonkas - seems like you and Lovella are on the similar pages today. Love the little note taker!!
OH so cute...so very cute and yes...they should take note. So many of the toys these days end up in the dump...I know.
Is there anything more wonderful than grandchildren? I enjoy seeing the wonders of the world through their eyes. Even "old" toys become "new"!
That was a cute post! Funny how the smallest and least expensive toy can be such entertainment. Their little minds are kept busy...it's good!
Makes me wish I still had some of these cars in my toy box. My grandsons spend hours playing with anything that has wheels, much to their grandfather's pleasure.
Your new banner looks so pretty!
