As the celebrations continue in our family,
the beautiful bride-to-be is clearly counting the days!
There was happy chatter as aunts and cousins gathered with food
around the island in Carrie's kitchen
The Menu:
punch
cran and apple cinnamon cheeseball
artichoke dip with crackers
glazed meatballs
Mexican spirals
veggies
fruit
angel food cake
lemon poppyseed cupcakes
coffee and tea
We played a game in which my sister-in-law, Carrie
read a story she had written about the bride and groom.
A few random gifts placed in different hands within the circle
were tossed left and right as the story used those words at every turn.

So nice to see photos of the shower I sadly had to miss! Looks like a ton of fun, as always. :)
See you all soon for the big day!
Beautiful, as always Anneliese. Thank you for sharing your gift of documenting this special day of blessing Rosalynn.
Lovely recap of the shower. I love the sentiments added, too. Beautiful.
Beautiful Anneliese! It is clear to see she is a happy and excited bride. I had to think of you as my mouth was watering at the food pictures.
Monika...your hair is so pretty!
A beautiful celebration for the bride-to-be! You have such a wonderful way of recording these special events in your family. I read some of the poetry you wrote for the Celebrations book and was so impressed - what a treasure trove of ideas, sentiments, pictures, writings, recipes and more!
Thanks for taking us along...to Rosalynn's shower. Beautiful...all around. And I love your closing message to your artist niece...a reminder to us all that it is only God who can make everything beautiful in our lives.
It's the season - and what a lovely time you must have had celebrating the pretty bride!
Looks like a wonderful evening! You are so blessed with a family that loves to celebrate together like you do.
I love how you celebrate your family events, whether marriage or baby showers or larger extended. You have a small hidden morsel for each of your guests. God bless you!
Thank you so much Aunt Anneliese for capturing all the fun and love! I really appreciate all that you have done for me over the past 24 years!
What a lovely event! The bride to be is so pretty! The shower must have been even more special than she could have imagined. It is a joy to be able to honor this young bride. What a joyful time for your family.
