I was paging through a magazine while at the hairdressers and,
in looking at this poll about jean preferences,
I thought it would be fun to poll another set of readers.
Can we have some fashion fun?
Now. . . I really do not know what age group was polled,
but I tend to think that being at the stage where nothing is new any more . . .
I can look at styles from exactly that perspective and choose on assortment of different styles
according to my mood, the setting, what top I want to wear etc.
What's not to like about flared jeans?
I remember when they came into style in the 70's . . . at that time, the bigger the better.
I like wearing them with a smaller style t-shirt and a belt, of course.
Just plain comfy in summer.
I don't like that you can't tuck them into boots without looking awkward.
The boot cut could possibly be my favorite. Not sure.
Just a nice classy go-between for shirts tucked in or out.
Easy to wear with ankle boots.
The skinny cut looks good with the right tops . . . there has to some kind of balance.
Sometimes I'm not quite sure if I can pull them off right, but other times they
feel so good with a long soft pullover (sweater dress) or shirt.
I prefer tall boots with them . . . so easy to slip into in winter.
So . . . what do you think?
What do you like about the style you like?

My fav is boot cut.....but I'm with you on the comfiness of the fuller leg...and the ease of a high boot over skinny jeans. I think we like so many of the same style clothes. You can pull them all off but I like you in the boot cut the best in these photos. You are such a stunning model!
I like them all, on you. I never wear jeans.
Very nice back-lighting in the first shot.

Ooops that was the *second* shot.

I like boot cut or straight. Skinny makes me feel like I look like I'm on stilts. But with boots they are okay. Your best fashion accessory, seen in these photos, is your smile!
I like all of them, for just about the same reasons as you've given. I like the flare because it makes me fell taller, and the skinny jean because it's so comfy for travel (as a matter of fact, that's what I'm wearing as I wait for my flight - skinny black jeans, Mary Jane shoes, Tshirt, jacket and scarf. The boot cut is a favourite in winter - what's not to like about jeans and boots!?
By the way, you wear them all beautifully!
Cute post! You look great, regardless of which style you choose! I love bootcut and hope it stays in style forever. Although I should admit that I have never tried skinny jeans yet, just not sure about them! Perhaps I should give them a chance?
As always, with your fashion posts, tell the photographer he is doing a great job! ;-)
My favorite is the boot cut, although I want to tell you that you can certainly pull off each of the three styles. I did learn yesterday, that if you want to wear the jean with the boot cut, and you want to tuck them in your boots, you wear the pant knee socks and pull them up over your jeans and then put on the boots. The lady sharing it, stated it keeps your jeans in place and the helps the boots look good. I did not try this fashion tip though.
You look stunning in all of them although I think the bootcut is my favorite. I can't wear skinny because my calves are too big...all that walking I guess!! so I don't have the same choices as you do!
It helps to be such a cute size...everything looks nice on you! Bought my first pair of skinny jeans last year. Never thought I could wear them since I am most assuredly NOT skinny, but they actually looked pretty good. Mostly, I wear boot cut...and I really like dress jeans.
I like all of them too and you look fantastic in all! I'm short and tend to like long skinny stretchy (they need to have stretch) jeans. They just make me feel taller??? Loose tops are my style as well. I used to love my bell bottoms in the 60's and 70's but now mostly wear straight leg or skinny.
You look great in all of them...I do not like skinny jeans...I am too fluffy for skinny jeans and on teens they look terrible....Oh well, I am an old fashioned gal...skinny shows more than some people should see....

I agree...you can wear jeans any-which-way and look good in them! I think the bootcut is my favorite as well. My problem is always finding jeans in longer leg lengths.
You always look so beautiful and put-together!
I also like the skinny jeans - I feel they make me look slimmer. I agree that a longer top works best with them and I love wearing them with tall boots.
I agree with the other commenters, you look great in all styles.
I like all those jeans on you! I own a pair of each and agree that it totally makes a difference to me what shoe I plan to wear and what top I'm going to wear.
You pull them all off just beautifully.
They all look great on you - I would have a difficult time deciding which I like better. You are a great model - you look like you are having fun and I'm sure the photographer had a good time as well. I like your fashion shows.

I prefer not exactly skinny, but tapered, straight leg jeans. That said, I fantasize about those Seafarer jeans I wore in the 70's...they were the best, but not available anymore. My rule for jeans is slim legs/full top; flared legs/ slim top. Seems to work for me. You look nice in anything!
I wear them all but I like wearing my skinny jeans, a long top or sweater and tall boots best. I love your fashion posts - you give me ideas! Thanks!
