Appetizer Anyone?

The table was set.
Julene was listening to her dad tell a story as he was turning
the chicken on the grill . . .
Chris, obviously in deep thought about something,
and Makenna was riding her mom's old tricycle on the lower patio.

Meanwhile, Tehya and Paeton found something to keep themselves entertained.

A fuzzy, wuzzy something . . .

The poor thing was probably very happy when the dinner bell went off
and it was left alone.

Kids just seem to love creepy crawly things, don't they! And your table looks lovely! Tablecloths and centerpieces don't work well outdoors here. You'd need a fitted cloth with elastic to keep it on and weighted decorations. It's so windy... you have to hang on to your plate or it will blow away.

Predinner activities all over the world...must be somewhat similar. At least in my part of the world.

Hello - another enjoyable post today! I have a question
Regarding a bog I used to enjoy reading through your blog. It was called a new life a new beginning. I cannot seem to find it anymore. It was very encouraging for me to read even though I did not personally know the young woman. I hope I am not being intrusive but can you kindly let me know if it is closed for public viewing? Thank you in advance.

It's so nice that the weather is cooperating here and there so we can sit outside waiting for the chicken to grill!!

Small pleasures...like fuzzy wuzzies...are the stuff life is made of. And family gathered around the table...especially outdoors on a nice day...is the best!

I like the bracelet...especially the word 'HOPE'!

I love this post...I can see this coming in a future family picnic shot. Who know where you could post about some appetizers meant just for Kids??
Enjoy the day.
