Mother's Day Weekend

In our back yard the little "fists" I posted about earlier have opened up into huge pop poms. Just thought I'd show them off here . . . to go with the flower theme this weekend . . .

which began on Friday morning with red roses and a sweet little note delivered to our door
 . . . from our Prairie family.

It continued with a beautiful lunch

graced with more flowers

a thoughtfully packaged gift . . .

Swiss eggs, a salad, fruit, banana chocolate muffins
and ginger carrot scones . . .
I felt spoiled!

On Saturday my H lined up all of our planters and pots and I got to go at them . . . filling them in anticipation of flowering planters all summer long.

Sunday we delivered a flowering azalea tree to my Mom.
My sister and I got in on a quick shot with her before she and Abe served us and our hubbies.
It was a beautiful weekend in many ways!

What a wonderful weekend - so many that showed their love for you. I wish that was me with all those flower pots waiting to be filled - we will have to wait just a bit longer for planting.

You're so blessed! I'm sure you realize that and count your blessings daily - but it never hurts to be reminded. And your Mother is beautiful! Now we see where you and your sister get your looks!

Aww - you deserve all those beautiful flowers and those back yard blooms are amazing! What is the name of that tree?
Looks like you had a great Mother's Day with your mom and sis and your gorgeous girls - so special!
I'm just starting to plant some things here and trying to plan so that I have mid-September blooms. Hope I get it right.

Such lovely flowers, isn't it fun to be pampered once in awhile?

I had some extra time this evening and I really enjoyed my time spent here at your blog. You shared so many special parts of your life and I count it a privilege to step into your life for a few minutes. Thanks for blogging and doing a beautiful job when you do.
